Where a mask with stellar power yoga logo

Each winter, during flu & cold season, people are asked to stay home when they are sick. This is especially important in a yoga studio, where we practice in proximity.

This year, concerns around COVID 19 gives this message even more urgency.

The Centers for Disease Control recommends “everyday preventive actions to avoid the spread of this respiratory disease — wash your hands frequently and distance yourself from those who are coughing or sick, remain 6 to 10 feet apart from individuals, wear a mask when out in public, do not gather in groups more than 10 people, minimize travel, quarantine for 14 days if you are feeling sick, traveled out of the country or have been around someone who has tested positive for COVID 19” .

If you aren’t feeling well, we ask that you please stay home for your well-being and that of your fellow students and teachers.
We are following CDC guidelines as well as other best practices to ensure the safety of our members and our staff. As result, we have new proactive measures in place.

Touch points including door handles, restroom, and other common surfaces are being cleaned with increased frequency, using a new cleaning solution certified to kill viruses.

Continuing conversations are in place with our janitorial vendor to identify the most effective and safe products we can use for deep cleaning.

Any instructor who suspects they are ill must stay home until fully recovered or has tested negative for COVID 19.

Be sure to check MINDBODY /Website for any class updates and or cancellations.

I just want to emphasize one last thing. All we can do is take precautions and not freak out. If we freak out, we can’t think we can’t function and we can’t resolve. I will do my best to implement the best practices to keep us all safe. Online classes coming soon!!
